Available hours:
We keep busy from Monday through Friday, and are generally very responsive on email during that time.
We schedule kickoffs on Mondays and presentations and workshops on Thursdays.
We reserve Fridays for meeting-free, focused work.
Who you’ll be working with:
All projects are led by Caitlin Barrett, with the mostly-behind-the-scenes support of a dedicated brand-language researcher and a network of namers.
Scheduling meetings:
Once a contract is signed and we’ve sent our initial invoice, you’ll get a set of Calendly links for each milestone of our engagement. You can use Calendly to schedule directly, or use it for a live view of our availability to schedule via your preferred method. Please let us know if you cannot find a time that works. We are often willing to do meetings quite early or after hours if needed to accommodate different time zones.
If there’s a branding emergency:
If we are engaged on a project together, best way to reach us is via email, even in a situation that is urgent. Reaching out to caitlin@wildgeesestudio.com with a subject line indicating urgency will usually get you a response quickly.
For less pressing matters that still require attention outside of our scheduled milestones, you can schedule a 15-minute ad-hoc call with at least 24-hours notice, if our availability allows.

What happens after a naming presentation?
Most projects conclude with an emailed summary of our “working shortlist,” which is a list of the most-favored names discussed during the naming presentation. This is the list that you’ll take to your legal counsel for final legal clearance.
Many clients end up requesting a second round of name development to explore an idea from round 1 more deeply, others hire us to join conversations with their legal counsel as the name undergoes deeper clearance searches, and a few every year ask us to present the name journey (along with the final name) to their board or other senior decision makers.
If you anticipate wanting any of these services at any point during our work together, let us know and we’ll make sure to reserve time in the studio’s schedule.
